Here's another album that deserves a little bit more attention. Okay, it may not beat the lastest Paradise Lost for the best Gothic Album of the year (or I might change my mind after a few more spins), but I do feel compelled to at least write a few lines about this one to do it some justice. Granted it's female fronted, but by no means it is those sweet honeyed female vocals or operatic style one may expect, but one that sounds dark, almost twisted and disturbed. The band also didn't forget their Symphonic Black Metal roots and blackened male vocals definitely adds another edge to "Solfernus' Path".
