"Accelerated Living" may look and sound old school, but certainly not redundant. In fact, I can't stop myself nodding my head along the tunes. The vocals may take a while to get used to as they may come across as sort of monotonous, but it sure sounds angry and abrasive.

If you like the slow and heavy sound of Stoner Metal and have not heard of Acid King or their album "III" before, this just may be your discovery. Being a female fronted band, it is still totally incomparable to bands such as Nightwish, Tristianna or After Forever as the music is completely different with slow tempo structures, low-tuned and distorted guitar riffs.

A fairly well known band among the Doom scene which could be the type of Doom they play or because of Liz Buckingham is one of the rare female guitarists, or perhaps they just play great Doom Metal.
