Guitarist on "A Virgin And A Whore" Antti Kokko left ETOS to concentrate his efforts on Kalmah and we see a change of musical direction here which is also contributed by the addition of Janne Tolsa, the band's new keyboardist that also plays in Tarot. With a more Symphonic approach, Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica and Marco Hietala of Tarot and Nightwish as back vocalist, "Before the Bleeding Sun" sounds really different from "A Virgin And A Whore", but still a good addition to the band's discography.
