Compared to previous albums, Worlds Collide sounds heavier to me, but a bit more synthetic rather than just raw cello and drums. It also features more songs with vocals (4 in fact) by guest musicians, including Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), Till Lindermann (Rammstein), Adam Gontier (Three Days Grace) and Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil).
