Genre: Industrial Gothic Metal
Bit Rate: 320
Purists would probably stay clear of this record as it may not be "Metal" enough due to all those industrial bits. Though I am normally quite welcome to these effects, the album failed to grip me and I suspect it has to do with the vocals not being the style I like.

When you blend in Jazz with Metal and have a unique voice found in front woman Agnete Kirkevaag, you get Madder Mortem, among the most atypical bands in Metal. If you like their previous releases, "Eight Ways" would be no less different if not liking it more. If you haven't tried them before but is feeling adventurous, "Eight Ways" might just be the right fix.
